Samantha offers counselling to adults seeking support with emotional overwhelm, anxiety, trauma, and challenges in romantic or interpersonal relationships. Many people she works with notice recurring patterns they do not yet fully understand, feel disconnected from themselves or others, or feel frustrated that insight alone has not shifted how their emotions and body respond.

You may be experiencing exhaustion from carrying too much for too long, or from life changing abruptly and leaving you feeling shaken, vulnerable, or unlike yourself. Counselling can provide a steady, compassionate place to set some of that down. Together, you will slow things down, make sense of what has felt confusing or heavy, and begin building a more grounded and compassionate relationship with yourself and others.

Her work is guided by a deeply relational, person-centred approach. She will meet you with curiosity and deep respect for your inner wisdom and resilience. She is attentive to the patterns that shape relationships and your nervous system, and together you will explore them collaboratively and at a pace that feels safe. She believes meaningful change grows from feeling truly seen and understood. She aims to create a non-judgemental space where all parts of you are welcome. Whether you are seeking support, relief, clarity, or a deeper sense of connection, together you will move in a way that honours your agency and lived experience.

About Me: Hey there—I’m a newly licensed Registered Massage Therapist who believes the body keeps its own stories, and my job is to listen with my hands until those stories start to soften and the narrative becomes clear.

Massage school classmates nicknamed me the “Calf Whisperer” (a title I wear with zero humility), and I also answer to the moniker Soleus Broleus.

I love jogging, and I know that if you don’t have happy calves, there are going to be some unhappy laps. I also enjoy dancing Latin ballroom with my partner.

Runners, cyclists, and people who wore heels for twelve hours at a wedding and are now questioning all life choices—yes, your calves too. I see you. I’ve got you.

What I bring to the table is a blend of deep, deliberate myofascial work, precise trigger-point releases, and long, rhythmic Swedish strokes. I also like to include heat hydrotherapy, as I feel the circulatory benefits of heat after a day on your feet… can be a real treat.

My landing at New Heights is the conclusion of a long career switch process! Prior to being an RMT, I was a librarian! So, if you like books and quiet, or book club energy, where you can have one-on-one conversations and cool discussions, I’d be a good pick for someone who feels calmest in that kind of setting.

My favorite fiction author is Haruki Murakami, and my favorite non-fiction author is James Baldwin, if that helps add context to all of that. I also have my own sourdough starter mother, and I feel that says a lot about me without saying anything; her name is Doughorthy…

My treatment room is a deliberately warm, judgment-free zone for LGBTQIA+ folks, people of any colour or religious creed, and ESPECIALLY neurodivergent humans, and anyone who’s ever felt like the standard medical script wasn’t written for them. You’re safe here. Gentle sarcasm, terrible puns, and a warm invitation for silence are all part of the package. Why ESPECIALLY neurodivergent people? That’s baseline for me—my wife, my kids, and I are all neurodivergent, so that’s my default OS. I can’t wait to meet you—and your calves—soon. I also adore animals and have a senior cat named Lazy. Feel free to ask for pictures!

My name is Andy Su, and I am a strong advocate for individuals taking an active role in their own recovery journey. My aim is to develop a treatment plan that involves us working together to help you return to your normal self, whatever that means for you. Although massage therapy is often overlooked, it is a highly effective method to assist in healing and rehabilitating traumatic or repetitive strain injuries. My goal is to assist you in your recovery and ideally reach a point where you no longer need to return for further treatment.

I prefer to start with a thorough assessment to ensure we address the correct issue from the very first treatment. I believe in getting you actively involved in the process, as massage therapy aids the body’s natural healing in a way that is both comfortable and practical for you.

I used to spend a lot of time playing various musical instruments, including drums, guitar, bass, piano, and clarinet. Nowadays, I livestream myself playing video games in my spare time. I enjoy applying the problem-solving skills I’ve developed from gaming to my treatment plans, ensuring each session is effective and helps us achieve your health goals.

I hope that we can work together to get you on a treatment plan that fits your lifestyle and gets you back to your normal, whatever that may be.

Fascia-Focused Massage Therapy | Honors Graduate 2017

Sabrina is a Registered Massage Therapist dedicated to restoring the body’s natural balance by addressing the “root of the restriction.” While many traditional treatments focus solely on muscle tissue, Sabrina’s practice has evolved to prioritize the fascial system. By focusing on the body’s connective tissue web, she helps improve hydration, mobility, and the vital flow of blood, lymph, and nerve transmission.

Understanding Fascia

Fascia is a continuous, three-dimensional web of connective tissue that runs from the top of the head to the bottoms of the feet. It surrounds and supports every muscle, organ, bone, and nerve fiber in the body. Because it’s one interconnected system, restrictions in one area can affect movement and comfort elsewhere. Factors such as surgery, repetitive motion, poor posture, or emotional and physical stress can lead to tightness, inflammation, and pain. Sabrina’s work focuses on restoring the fascia’s natural integrity so the body can move and function with greater ease.

A Layered Approach to Healing

Sabrina recognizes that tension exists at different depths. To provide a truly comprehensive treatment, she utilizes a dual-tool approach to fascial health:

Superficial Release (CoAT Method): Using the Course of Applied Tensegrity, Sabrina employs gentle, lifting techniques to hydrate the surface layers of fascia and calm the nervous system.

Deep Structural Release (IASTM): Using Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, she targets deeper adhesions and dense restrictions that manual pressure alone often cannot reach.

The Fascia-First Philosophy

Whether you book a specialized fascial treatment, a Therapeutic Hot Stone session, or a Traditional Swedish Massage, Sabrina’s intent remains the same: Fascial Tensegrity.

By focusing on fascia rather than just muscle, she creates more space within the body. This approach not only “melts” tension but also supports the body’s internal plumbing—enhancing lymphatic drainage and circulation—allowing for faster recovery and longer-lasting results.

Treatment Philosophy

Sabrina’s role is not to “fix” the body, but to remove the structural interferences that prevent the body from healing itself. Her treatments are supportive and intentional, providing a space for your system to unwind, re-hydrate, and rebalance at its own pace.

Is Sabrina Right for You?

If you’re looking for a therapist who treats the body as an integrated whole rather than a collection of isolated muscles, Sabrina’s approach may resonate with you. Her fascia-centered perspective offers effective, lasting results for those seeking relief from chronic tension, pain, restricted movement, or post-surgical recovery. She also offers hot stone treatments as a standalone option for deep relaxation and therapeutic warmth.
